Background:
Woodland Middle School was built 25 years ago in Flitwick, Bedfordshire, and has been extended as the population of the town has grown. The school is currently undergoing a building project to provide the school with new laboratories, a new food studies area, six new classrooms and new changing rooms. The active Parent-Teacher Association raises money for the school and organises social activites. Pupils regularly raise money for national and international charities. One project saw 20 children and adults from Chernobyl visiting the school.
