Background:
Queensbury is a large comprehensive school with 1,200 students, including a large sixth form. It is pleasantly situated close to the Downs in the western sector of Dunstable, readily accessible from all parts of the town and surrounding district and many of its students come a considerable distance to attend their chosen school. There are activities and clubs available for students of all ages, organised by staff and students. There is a flourishing programme of outdoor pursuits. Students are prepared for the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme at all levels. The school aims to provide a safe and pleasant environment for effective learning.
