Background:

Gamlingay Village College is committed to the three-tier system of education. There is a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere for the children to work in at the school. Many sporting opportunities, clubs and other activities take place either at lunchtime or after school. There are inter-school sporting activities and visits, which form an important part of, school life. Children have the opportunity to learn an orchestral instrument and are prepared for a variety of music exams. Each classroom has its own networked computer and printer. In addition the technology block also has its own-networked suite. There is a large multi-use games area for tennis or netball, and extensive playing fields on site. This school has a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere.
